Gary Pearson

Chief Executive Officer

linkedin_icon.png    Gary Pearson was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Adacel in October, 2015. Gary joined Adacel in 2001. In his initial duties with the Company, he led the development team responsible for the functional content of the USAF MaxSim Tower Simulation System bringing Adacel’s ATC simulation products to the forefront of the industry. Mr. Pearson was appointed Vice President, Advanced Programs in 2005 and in 2008 added overseeing the Product Management team to that portfolio where he continued to be at the center of Adacel's product initiatives. In addition to directing the development of existing product lines, Mr. Pearson was responsible for defining new technologically advanced programs to take Adacel’s proven technology into associated market sectors. He was promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Adacel in June 2010 and served as Acting Chief Executive Officer from June, 2015 until his official appointment to CEO in October, 2015.

     Before joining Adacel, Mr. Pearson was a product development manager and test group leader in the ATC simulation industry. Prior to this he was an air traffic control officer and qualified air traffic control examining officer in the Royal Air Force (RAF) and a flight manager responsible for day-to-day specialist cargo operations for a European air cargo company. Earlier in his career, Mr. Pearson served in the Merchant Marine.

Daniel Verret

Chef de la direction financière

     Mr. Verret is a Chartered Professional Accountant with over 20 years of experience in both private and publicly-listed companies. As a seasoned finance executive, Mr. Verret has overseen corporate finance activities, financial planning & analysis, as well as mergers and acquisitions, most recently as Executive Director, Finance, at Telecon since 2015.

     Between 2002 and 2014, Mr. Verret served as Vice President and Principal Accounting Officer at Yellow Pages where he oversaw financial reporting, accounting services and administrative services and played an instrumental role in the Company’s initial public offering as well as it’s subsequent growth. Prior to joining Yellow Pages, Mr. Verret held the position of Senior Director of Finance at Bell Canada.

     Mr. Verret is a graduate of both Concordia and McGill University and is a member of the Québec Chartered Professional Accountant Order.

Brian Hennessey

VP, Business Development & Strategic Planning

linkedin_icon.png      Brian Hennessey was promoted to Vice President Business Development & Strategic Planning in 2014. Brian joined Adacel Technologies in 1997 after Adacel purchased the remaining equity in a jointly held company specializing in the development of management training simulation products. Brian held the position of Director of Advanced Programs where he led the development efforts of many of Adacel’s products including part task radar simulator, the airfield driving simulator and security simulator.

     Brian is the author of numerous published papers as well as coauthor of the book “Critical Infrastructure Security: Assessment, Prevention, Detection, Response” Prior to joining Adacel Brian held positions at Telstra and Autoliv Australia. Mr. Hennessey has a B.S Communications from Fitchburg University.

Kevin Pickett

VP, Operations

     Kevin Pickett was promoted to Vice President of Operations in 2018. Kevin joined Adacel in 2010 and has held various positions within Operations. His most recent position was as the Director of Operations where he was responsible for multiple departments whose primary focus was on delivery and support for all of Adacel’s product and services.

     Before joining Adacel, Mr. Pickett held numerous positions at Northrop Grumman Corporation prior to his retirement in 2010 after 22 years of service. Most notable are his years supporting various Laser Mine Detection Programs for the U. S. Navy. Prior to this he was a Crew Chief on F-15 fighter aircraft for the USAF.
